Safety Manager
McComb, Mississippi
Trucks are assigned parking location at the HTI terminal in the old Fernwood Industrial Park.

Required:
- Minimum of five years of successful experience in a safety and/or operations management role with a reputable motor carrier.
- Organized, creative, and be able to handle multiple tasks in an intense working environment.
- Proven track record of design and implementation of orientation and developmental training programs for employees in a safety sensitive function, preferably transportation.
- Thorough understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Ability to confront matters of non-compliance with drivers and/or dispatchers in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated skills and experience related to accident/incident investigation, OSHA, FLSA, and workers’ compensation.
- Ability to communicate company policies and procedures verbally, and in writing, in a professional manner at all times.
- CDL-A License, issued by the state in which you reside, or obtain within six months.
Preferred:
- Professional Safety Certification.
- A/I Investigation Certification.
